Things our patients need to know

1. Our specialist clinics such as cardiology and pulmonology, see patients on an appointment basis with a limited number of slots reserved for urgent same day appointments. For general appointment, please call 703.658.7060. If an appointment needs to be rescheduled or cancelled, please do so at least 24 hours prior to the appointment to avoid incurring a $40 cancellation fee.

2. For urgent medical issues that need to be seen on the same day, after hours, or on the weekend, our urgent care facility in Annandale will be able to accommodate you. The facility is well equipped with digital x-ray, labs and pharmacy to expedite your care.

3. Annandale Urgent Care is open 7 days a week. We can manage most of your urgent health care needs in a timely and efficient manner and possibly save you expensive cost and the long wait in the Emergency Room. NO APPOINTMENT is required.

4. We participate with most medical PPO insurances. Patients with PPO plans do not require to have referrals. All HMO insurances except Open Access require PCP referral for our specialists. Due to health insurance company restrictions, patients with HMO plans will require PCP referral to be seen in Annandale Urgent Care. If you do not have the nescessary referrals at the time of the office visit, you still can be seen but we will ask you to pay out-of-pocket for the visit. Cash, check and credit cards for fee payments are accepted.

5. When requesting refills, please ask your pharmacy to fax a request to our office, we will get to your refill promptly. If you have a favorite pharmacy, let us know so we can enter the pharmacy’s contact and fax number in your medical record to expedite your refill.

6. Our after-hours answering service is for true emergencies only. For all other questions and inquiries, please call back the following day once our office is open. For Life Threatening Conditions, Call 911.

7. For your convenience, we have a Pharmacy on site stocked with many of the generic medications. Most prescriptions are $15 to $20 which is about the same or less than the price of your copay. For medication refills at our pharmacy, please call 703.658.7060.

8. If your injuries are due to a motor vehicle accident or work related, please inform our staffs upon arrival so proper paper work can be filled out for you. Not notifying our staffs may result in out-of-pocket charges to you.

9. All co-pay and unmet deductible will be collected at the time the service is rendered.
